NEW ORLEANS — Taking a break from game film to watch an inspirational movie can help get a football player’s mind right before hitting the gridiron the next day.
ESPN reported today that Alabama and LSU each caught early screenings of movies last night, that have yet to be released in theaters.
LSU watched the new Mark Wahlberg action vehicle “Contraband,” due in theaters this Friday. The film is about a former smuggler (Wahlberg) who heads to Panama to score millions of dollars in counterfeit bills to protect his family. Of course, things get messy with some shady individuals, and Marky Mark has to bust some caps in fools.
