Presentation Information: To help the program committee create a well-balanced program, please select the discipline area and grade level most applicable to your proposal. Accepted presentations will be listed with this information in the conference program. Select all that apply.

Please mark all that apply. Participants should bring their own computers. (WiFi is very limited so only make this request if your session requires participants to utilize the Internet extensively as part of the goals.)

The program committee will make every effort to accommodate your request. Space is limited. You may be requested to use an alternate format.
1-Hour presentation (This is the most common type of presentation/session)
2-Hour presentation (A limited number of 2-hour sessions may be planned. These will be determined based on the rationale provided within the proposal.)
1/2–Day Session with participants pre-registering (These are sessions that provide instruction and training that will be completed during the entire morning or afternoon session period. Participants may pre-register for these sessions.)
All–Day Session with participants pre-registering (These are sessions that provide instruction and training that will be completed over the course of the entire day. Participants may pre-register for these sessions.)
Poster Session (Table displays and face-to-face discussions with individuals interested in your topic)
Presenter Information: ALL presenters must register for the conference. If there are more than two secondary presenters, please indicate this in the comments box at the end of the proposal. Provide all information below for any additional presenters.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS

By submitting this proposal you agree to the following:
  • To conduct the presentation/session at the time it is scheduled and to contact the SSCA committee immediately if this will not be possible. Mailed, faxed or electronic submissions are accepted. Electronic submission is preferred and strongly suggested; i.e., submit online at www.alsocialstudies.org.
  • ALL presenters must register by the late registration deadline. Presenters must pay applicable costs at the time of registration (such as membership or lunch costs).
  • The primary presenter agrees that he or she will be the principle point of contact for the SSCA regarding the presentation and the conference. It is the primary presenter’s responsibility to contact co-presenters.
Proposals will not be accepted after the due date.
